Third Debt by Pepper Winters

I read this book over a week ago and I am at a loss on how I feel about it and more to the point I am confused about how to put my thoughts into words.

Pepper Winters is in a class of her own when it comes to the intensity that she can get onto a page – she absolutely knocks it out of the ball park and for that I think I am right to say that I feel completely indebted to her.

The story is what can only be described as full bodied, it is a rollercoaster of highs and lows that hurtled along, dragging me along for the ride, all the time with my mind screaming and my nerves slowly being shredded as I became more and more desperate to see where the story was going to end.

And even at the end I was left aghast.

Without divulging the storyline, I have to say that Jethro and Nila captivated me, I was completely absorbed by the pace of the story and the events that were coming to the fore for the pair of them.

I was shattered by many of the events in the book, by the pain that was inflicted on my soul and the fact that I couldn’t control the emotion that the author drew from me.

I would like to say that this is a book that will truly make you feel! You will have no choice in that and it will leave you completely spent. It will have you reaching not just for the tissues but for the alcohol of your choice as you endeavour to calm your nerves and recover your senses.

But it will also leave you with questions, like any good story should, it will leave you begging for more and desperately searching out any morsel of what may still be to come.

An amazing story but an awesome talent.
