Decker

by Eden Summers

I had no idea that when I picked up this book, I would be reading one of the best books that I have read all year!

With only a few days left of 2018 I will have to say that this is one that had I known just how fabulous it was going to be, I would have waited the year anyway! Quite simply this was fantastic.

A standalone work that didn’t need anyone or anything to support it, this was not only highly entertaining but had a very slick undertone of suspense that wove the whole scenario together, it was edgy stuff.

Keira’s father is the man that you want to stay well clear of, head of what can only be described as a family that doesn’t just dip its toe into organised crime, nope he is at the root of it all and that is never a safe place to be. And despite her brothers’ best attempts to keep her from the full truth, Keira isn’t a woman who needs to be mollycoddled…nope she is more capable of looking after herself or so she thinks!

So, as you can imagine sparks were all set to fly when her brother Cole, tasked one of his guys to keep a watchful eye on her and to make sure that she was out of the reach of those that would think nothing of using her against the family.

Now, I have to say right here that I loved Decker from the very beginning, he was everything a woman could possibly want, a whole heap of bada** , balance perfectly with a sharp wit and alpha male tendencies that had me weak at the knees…I was totally done for! But Decker has only one objective and that was Keira and it had not a lot to do with Cole and a whole lot to do with the fact that he was harbouring a bit of a soft spot for her himself. But he wasn’t t only one playing their cards very close to their chest because as you can imagine, Keira doesn’t lay out all her secrets readily and she has a few that make for some pretty exciting times once divulged.

A fabulous read that had it all and left no stone unturned in its pursuit of my pleasure!
