There is very little that I can say about this the latest Ker Dukey masterpiece, other than the fact that it really was exceptional.

I picked this up and foolishly thought that I would be able to read just a few chapters before getting on with my day…not a hope, this was a story that refused to let me go and I just couldn’t be bothered to prize my kindle from my hand because once I had started I just had to see where the story was heading, I couldn’t put it down!

I can’t give you details about the story, you need the opportunity to meet and get to know Max and more importantly Evi for yourself, believe me you are going to be blown away.

I loved Max, really, he was a great character but it was Evi that I was totally absorbed by, her enigmatic personality totally captivated me, I thought I had a handle on her, on a number of occasions, only to be thwarted by the most magnificent imagination that is Ker Dukey!

There were so many times that I thought I had this story sussed only to be put in my place by an author that laid the very trap that I strolled straight into.

Fiendish!!!
