From The Heart: A Valentine's Day Anthology

I am going to review this anthology as a whole work rather that each individual short story, moreover I think that a general overview means that you are more likely to actually pick the collection up for yourself.

I was super impressed with the cause that this anthology was supporting but just because it was for a good reason didn’t mean that it was going to be good now…or did it?

You bet your butt it did!

I had read works from most of the contribution authors in the past but there were a couple that were new to me and I think that reading short works like this is a great way to get a feel for their style and whether or not you might actually like to read more of their work, for me I can say that since finishing the book, I have now gone on to buy works from most of the authors that contributed.

Each story brought something new to the table and each took a different approach.

As always I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on anything by Sarah Elizabeth, and she certainly didn’t disappoint.

But from the others, I was thrilled by the quality and depth of work that they produced, Beverley Preston reduced me to tears and RJ Thompson, oh my, what the heck was that, you nailed it!
