Hate Notes

by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward

The dynamic duo has hit the perfect button again and produced what I can only say is not only brilliantly quirky but beautifully sensitive.

If you believe in love in all its guises, then this is the book for you because when you get stuck into Charlotte and Reed’s story you won’t be able to put it down.

I loved Charlotte, her light-hearted nature seemed to encourage her habit of looking at life through a rose-coloured haze, she was the ultimate dreamer and mix that with what can only be described as a quirky, but infection nature and I was on her side all the way.

Reed on the other hand had promise but he wasn’t as easy to get to grips with, yes, I got that he was a handsome guy, but he managed to offset much of that by being an a$$ with monotonous regularity. His niggly persona was something that not only I, but Charlotte had to work to get through.

But if there was ever a woman that was going to show this surly man that love was definitely something that he should have in his life, it was her!

The journey they took was like bobbing along on a sea of emotions, everything they had in their path should have been easy to overcome but of course, where would be the fun it that and with Ms. Keeland and Ward at the helm they had to work hard to get to where they needed to be.

By the end of the book I was a mess, I was crying and laughing in equal measure, they were the most perfect pair and what they went through had me thoroughly entertained.
