Him or Me by Veronica Larsen

This quick, witty little read left me with warm feeling and a smile.

The characters Heath and Gracie has everything they needed they just didn’t have each other, well not in the way that mattered. They were best friends yes and everyone around them could see how Heath felt about her but Grace had a boyfriend, the obnoxious William, so Heath made the decision that he wasn’t willing to lose her friendship by making a play for another man’s woman, so until that situation changed, they remain in the friend zone. Little did he know that he wouldn’t have long to wait…William forced his hand when he proposed and I think has she been 100% committed she would have just at his proposal, he had everything she could have very wished for, he could give her a life that Heath couldn’t but he wasn’t heath and that caused her heart a problem.

Facing the real prospect of losing her, Heath makes his move and initially I thought he had blown it but when he rocked up in her classroom, the smile was back on my face and Heath was definitely back in the game, Grace had made her decision and my heart was happy.

What this lacked in length it made up for in content, the author packed a lovely little story into just a few short pages and I am really looking forward to what comes next.
