STAR STRUCK

So, I think it may have been with more than a little trepidation that I started this book because being honest I didn’t like Heather when she first popped up in Sex Symbol, I really found her self-absorbed attitude more than I was able to deal with, she wore my nerves down to their very limit and I wasn’t sure that she was going to turn that around…but everyone deserves a second chance so they say, so I took my hesitation and shelved it, willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and dived in.

 But after only a few chapter I was beginning to wonder if I had made a mistake, I still found her difficult to like in any way and if it hadn’t been for the fact that the author is someone that I have read in the past and have always had complete confidence in, I think I may very well have given up on Heather.

After a few more chapters I was beginning to see the real Heather and to realise that the personal that she portrayed was just that a cloak that she used to hide her real self behind, to protect herself from the fans and media that all wanted a little piece of her. But walls are there to be broken down, Heather just didn’t realise that her own particular bulldozer was going to arrive in the delicious shape of Seth Patrick Rafferty.

They rubbed each other up the wrong way from the outset but no matter how hard they tried to fight it, fate was elbow deep in making sure that this pair were meant for more but was it enough?

With secrets yet to be unveiled and another book to come, whether this pair get their happy ever after is yet to be seen!

No such doubts for the next book, I want to see where this pair are going to end up…can’t wait.
