Tempting by Alex Lucian

From chapter one I was hooked, this had so much going for it that I was struggling not to hurry myself through each and every page.

I was totally absorbed by Adele and Nathan’s story and to think that this was the work of a debut novelist I have to say that Alex Lucian I applaud you.

I loved Nathan, he was such a strong character but he had a past that haunted him in some respects.

Adele on the other hand, was a girl that knew exactly what she wanted and she was ready to get it. She went after her man and he never stood a chance again her. I wasn’t sure what to make of her initially whether I liked the fact that she didn’t stand back and let life pass her by or where she was trying to get the upper hand on Nathan just for the sake of it.

He was aghast when he realised that she was his student but it didn’t deter her and she was relentless.

Through all the tribulations that came with their situation I wasn’t sure that Nathan actually had the stomach to make it work but Adele wasn’t going to give up.

It wasn’t all plain sailing, it was harsh at times and Adele was an acquired taste but I have to say by the time I got to the end, I was sorry to say goodbye to them both…for the time being!
