THE CORNER OF HEARTBREAK AND FOREVER

by Addison Cole

A well versed, well written second chance romance that had characters that you couldn’t help but get involved with.

Small town romance, never sounded so good.

Grace was a successful woman but her success came at a cost and that was the fact that she didn’t seem to get as much time as she wanted or would like with her family and friends, so a short break back at home helping her sister out might just give her the down time that she so sorely needed.

She had it all planned, three weeks of much needed time with her parents and her sisters, what she hadn’t anticipated was the fact that she would be back in contact with her high school sweetheart and many of those old feelings didn’t take long to resurface.

Reed and Grace were great together, but they had been both missing out on living, Grace by the fact that she was so focussed on career and Reed was trying to re-establish himself now that he was back in town. But could they find a way back to each other or had too much time passed them by.

The journey they took to where they needed to be, was fabulous, there were so many sweet acts and actions that were beautifully described that I felt as if I was a fly on the wall and couldn’t help but root for the two of them.

Chock full of fabulous secondary characters this was a delicious read, with just enough angst and attitude, it wasn’t all sweetness and light and I think that the story was all the better for that fact.

A proper feel good story that was just delicious.

Highly recommended.
