As with the other books in the series I found this utterly engaging, I felt totally onboard with not only the whole rodeo setting but also the pull that the guys had with their craft.

Shane is ready to retire, knowing full well that his body can’t take another season, so he is aiming big and determined to win as much as can, he has a land that he is after in order to be able to secure his future.

Ella too is ready to prove to herself if no-one else that she is ready to forge a future for herself and has decided to undertake research in order to secure that future. And that research just happens to have her interviewing the guys at the rodeo.

They both had their eyes on their dreams, so it took them both a little by surprise when what should have been no more than a fling developed into a whole lot more.

I liked Shane but for me the star of the book was Ella, she was a feisty woman who although she didn’t always show it seemed to know what she wanted.

Overall, I can’t say that this has been my favourite of the series, but it does play an integral part and by the time the book finished the story did weave itself into the whole Copper Mountain setting, which was thoroughly enjoyable.
