Worth so much more than just five stars! And definitely more than your average romance.

This takes every emotion you could possibly possess and maxes them all out.

I loved the fact that this was so much more than just your run of the mill love story, it had all the ingredients I look for in a story, it was rife with angst and attitude. It was awash with not only regret but also the obligatory revenge.

I think the book was able to give a whole different stance on not only who Alexander Burnham was but, what made him tick. Normally he is totally in control of his surroundings but when that control dissipates, so does his composure.

Both Olivia and Alexander are suffering more than I could have ever thought possible, I could feel my heart break for them and on more than one occasion I was reaching for the tissues.

There were a number of surprises along the way but as the story drew to a close, the anticipation of a favourable outcome was all I could focus on.
