From the minute they met there was always destined to be more between Kynan and Joslyn, but whether they had the bottle to act on it was something that was yet to be seen.
As the story unfolded it became clear that they both had careers and external pressures that given the opportunity were hell-bent on keeping the pair of them apart. I couldn’t help but wonder if they had the desire to buck the trend and take what they wanted no matter the consequences!
Joslyn and Kynan were nice characters, they both had strengths that were easy to engage with, but I couldn’t help but wonder if I was missing something.
I can’t put my finger on what it was, but I just felt as if there was something not quite sitting right for me. Now, this is an entirely personal thing because the book was well written, and the author certainly laid the groundwork for the upcoming new series.
