All the Frogs in Manhattan

A very astute and equally funny look at dating in not only a modern city but also in the 21^st century and from what I can gather it is a fairly well pitched interpretation of events!

The storyline was funny, the conversations were both engaging and entertaining and I found that despite the fact that at some points of the story it was clear to see where the characters were heading, I quite simply couldn’t tear myself away from the page,

Oliver and Gemma were an odd pairing in many respects, the fashion editor with a wicked sense of humour that is heavily tainted by the reality of wading through an increasingly difficult dating scene and the very private technology mogul, who was as sweet and perceptive as he was elusive.

While they both had hidden sides to their characters that they were reluctant to either share or discuss, what they did have in common was the fact that when it came to what happened between the sheets (and anywhere else that took their fancy) they were both singing from the same page, totally and utterly in sync, they were perfect bed fellows.

But could they keep what they had going on as nothing more than a booty call agreement, the consummate friends with benefits arrangement or were the both treading on the hallowed ground of being involved!

Ms Aarons seems to have a Midas touch when it comes to this style of writing it was eclectically humorous and determined to journey to the beat of its own drum.

I chuckled, I snorted, I laughed out loud, I loved it.
