Finding Perseverance

They have been apart for a decade but no time was ever going to be enough!

Ryleigh watched the boy she loved leave all those years ago and was resolute in the fact that he needed to go and she need to let him, but that didn’t mean that she liked it or that she hadn’t missed him.

But the pain of the time apart is nothing when compared to the situation that they find themselves in now. Rook is up to his eyes in trouble and none of it is his doing but will Ryleigh see that?

I felt for them both, Rook because the pressure that he is under is absolutely immense, Boston was supposed to be just another fight, but life as he knows it suddenly takes a turn for the worse, actually scrap that it completely falls apart!

With no-one to turn too, he heads for the one person he knows that he can trust implicitly but will she turn him away?

Ryleigh was taken completely by surprise when Rook turned up asking for her help, but was it an ask that she felt able to help with or would it be a step too far?

Happy with her lot in life, Ryleigh loves her job in the bar and her friends but when Rook needs a place to lie low, she was never in a million years going to send him packing, she just doesn’t have it in her to turn him away, she’s never stopped loving him…heck she loved him enough to let him go and now he is back, I couldn’t help but think that there might be a little twist in the tale and they could finally get their shot at a happy ever after …but they had to find out the truth about the death of his girlfriend.

Would they be able to find out what exactly was going on, before the powers that be decided that he was the only man in the frame?

There was so much going on in this book that I was completely transfixed, the situation was so mudded, his girlfriend wasn’t the woman that he thought but could he uncover the truth before it was all too late?

Rook knew from the minute he sought Ryleigh out that she was on his side but that realisation had him sure that by her side was where he belonged and he was ready to go all out to show her what they could have…but could they find their second chance?

I loved the chemistry between the two of them, it was never in doubt.

Rook rocked while Ryleigh ruled!
