Book One was super, this is superb!

From the very first page, I was completely hooked, just you wait Sam and Angel are going to consume you!

Their high school romance was always destined to test the two of them, Angel because of the intensity of the feelings she had for Sam and Sam for the fact that he was up again a man that didn’t believe he was good enough for his daughter. Angel’s father was willing to stop at nothing to make sure his little girl was with a man that she deserved, a man that could provide for her and that man was most definitely not Sam Coalson.

But in getting Sam out of the picture…well, let’s just say he was willing to stoop lower than most!

The events of that intervention eventually lead to Sam’s departure, serving time in the Navy but his time is up and he is home and full of angst and attitude, after all the girl he loved stood by her father’s side while he was falsely accused of something her father had completely engineered.

But had she? There were things that had happened that Sam had no idea but he was so dang stubborn that at times I could have given him a good hard thwack and told him to listen up!

So the story all centres on the question on whether he would actually swallow his pride and listen to what she has to say. The book is one of what it takes to have a second chance with the person you have always loved.

There was so much going on that it is impossible to pinpoint any one particular strength unless of course you consider the love that these brothers have for their family and their women, because when it comes to that they are heading to the top of the pile.
