Lost Ones

by Nicole French

For me this falls into that very rare category of a second novel in a series that is better than the first and I don’t say that lightly because Bad Idea was a fantastic book, so that probably gives you an idea of just how phenomenal this was.

From start to finish this was more than just a read, it was an emotional journey that didn’t take any prisoners, it didn’t hold back so make sure you hold on tight because you will be gasping by the end…if you are lucky.

There are situations in the book that might not be of the light and fluffy persuasion but please don’t let that deter you, this is worthy of your time and effort, you will not be disappointed nor will you forget, this is a story that will stay with you for a long time.

I felt frustration at both Nico and Layla as their journey progressed but I think that said more about me than them and the fact that they drew me in to their story so completely. I felt totally engulfed and lived every line with them.

I finished the book wondering what I could do to ensure that I could have more of the same, this is an author that has shot to the top of my TBR list and if I could I would implore her to give this pair another outing or if that isn’t possible then please let us see a little more of some of the sensational secondary characters that have more than a fleeting impact on a story that can only be labelled as …MUST READ
