The Pilot and the Puck-Up

If you are looking for something to cheer you up, then you will be hard-pressed to find anything better…I don’t know that I have laughed as much in ages!
This might be the first book that I have read by this author, but it will certainly not be the last, my jaws ache from the length of time I have spent chuckling my way through the pages.
The book is about Zeus and Joey and I have to say they were absolutely hilarious. Together they may have been as hot as Hades but if I am being honest it was the humour that totally blew me away.
Zeus (there couldn’t be a better name for him!) he is an absolute mountain of a man, he plays a professional sport, hockey no less (I was already swooning!!!)  and I quite simply adored him.
Joey is a pilot and being a woman in a man’s world, she could never have been described as being of the shy retiring persuasion, she tackles life head on and owns its a**.
She leaves an impression on the Goliath that is Zeus Berger and for him, it was like a bolt of lightning because even though he wasn’t looking for her or anyone for that matter, he just might have found the woman that could bring him to his knees.
I loved the fact that Joey (aka Fireball) was so full on, so confident. But if they were to make something of the obvious attraction between them they had a momentous task ahead of them…namely finding a patch of middle ground that their forceful personalities were going to accept.
Neither of them is used to having to give an inch but both of them are more than capable of working with what they have and that is an attraction that refuses to go away…despite the fact that neither of them is actually looking for any form of connection in the first place.
Please pick this up, you will love it, they will totally steal your heart and leave you with the most delightful smile on your face.
