Worth Every Risk

by Terri E. Laine & A.M. Hargrove

I have been thrilled by every book that this writing duo has released, so when Worth the Risk hit my kindle I knew that I had yet another sensational read at my fingertips…but did the book live up to my expectations?
I was captivated by the passion for their characters that the authors could convey on every page, the feelings and intensity that they brought to the fore were so sincere that, that was what ensured that as a reader I felt a part of what was unfolding before me.
I enjoyed the fact that the story was presented from dual points of view, it meant that I had the opportunity to spend equal time with both Chase and Andi and had the chance to see and hear what was going on from their perspectives, it is funny how contradictory that can be.
Being together isn’t straightforward when it comes to Chase and Andi, the forces of nature seem to be busy doing everything they can to pull them apart but they are resilient and seem to have an innate desire to be where they both absolutely desire to be…together, but will they get their wish or will life throw them yet another curveball?
I thought that they deserved happiness and that happiness was only ever going to be found together, the draw was just too strong. I got that what they were going through was at times heartbreaking but my gut told me that it would make them stronger in the end so I couldn’t help but be quietly confident…if a little apprehensive. Characters keeping secrets does that to me.
I was glad to get a glimpse of the other players, they’re a super addition to the story and solidified the fact that whilst the book quite rightly concentrated on Chase and Andi, there were more than just them to take into consideration, this was a group that stuck together.
